Student Compass Consulting provides services to help you before your child is in school as well as through their elementary career.
Charter school consultation
$150/hour — Our charter school consultation consists of two sessions. During the first session, we will do an intake survey and learn about your family and your hopes for you child as they begin school. During the second session, we will provide you with an individual report that outlines the schools that we believe to be the best fit for your family.
special education consultation and Advocacy
150/hour— The world of special education can be extremely overwhelming. When you child is diagnosed with a disability and services begin at school you will be attending a variety of meetings and receive an individual education plan (IEP) outlining services your child will receive We are here to walk you through this process step by step. We will meet with you to discuss your child, review the IEP provided by the school and help you implement strategies at home that support the unique needs of your child.
behavior support
$125/hour — Challenging behavior can arise and we are there to help you implement strategies that work for your family. During the first session we will discuss the behavior and learn more about your child. We will perform a behavior analysis to determine why the behavior is occurring. During the next session we will provide you with positive behavior supports and coach you through using the strategies in your home. As a part of this service we make ourselves available via text and phone if you need in the moment coaching or support.
school readiness
$125/hour — The transition from home or a day care to school can often be a challenging and stressful time. There are many ways you can prepare your child before going to school for the first time and ways to make sure they will thrive both academically and emotionally during their first weeks of school.
